READ THIS BEFORE PURCHASE
The spring manufacturer produces Even value spring rates. (4.0N, 4.2N, 4.4N, 4.6N, 4.8N, 5.0N, 5.2N, 5.4N, 5.6N)
The spring manufacturer does not produce Odd value spring rates (4.1N, 4.3N, 4.5N, 4.7N, 4.9N, 5.1N, 5.3N, 5.5N)
If you order an Odd value spring rate such as 4.9N you will receive one 4.8N and one 5.0N.
Mixing / combining spring rates is a well accepted practice and 100% safe with no negatives or drawbacks.  In physics this obeys the law of springs in parallel.  To further this example the WP AER48 is a separate function fork where one side is a damper / hydraulics and the other fork is a spring / air spring.  Another example is the 2011-2019 Kawasaki KX250F which featured a Showa Separate function fork, meaning spring in one fork and a damper in the other. Another example is the 2014-2018 Suzuki RMZ450 with a Showa SFF fork.  Honda also did this with the 2015-2018 Honda CRF250R.
